Families, Movies and TV

Media choices bombard families today more than ever before. And families must pay more attention to those choices. Rose Pacatte, a Catholic sister who works in media literacy and education talks with Shaping Families this week about how families can begin thinking more mindfully about their media choices. Sister Rose has a deep passion for thinking about how media influences culture and how people consume it.

Media Matters

Steve Carpenter

I agree with Sister Rose that it’s important for parents to get involved with their children’s media, whether it be music, TV, video games or film. Of course, that’s a lot easier to do when the kids are young. That’s why I am recommending VeggieTales.

Current Offer
