Peanut Butter Popcorn Balls
![]() |
This is a recipe Lois Priest got from a weekly newssheet her son brought home from school his kindergarten year. These are soft and not sticky like popcorn balls made from corn syrup. Lois says, "We love them! They make a great lunchbox or after-school treat." |
½ cup honey
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup peanut butter
1 bag microwave popcorn, popped and “old maids” removed
In a saucepan, mix honey, brown sugar, and peanut butter and heat to boiling point (but do NOT boil). Remove from heat and pour over popcorn, stirring to coat well. Shape into balls and enjoy. (I like to leave in clusters, not shape into balls, also.)
