Losing an Infant

The death of an infant is one of the most painful experiences a parent can face. The loss of a child at any age is a tragic experience. Yet the loss of a newborn infant—hours, days, or sometimes months after their birth—carries with it its own particular kind of grief. This episode provides encouragement and support for those who have been touched by the loss of an infant.

Next Week

Mennonite Girls Can Cook. We’re excited to bring you next week’s program—an interview with one of the cooks from the very popular blog and now cookbook, Mennonite Girls Can Cook. The book came out in May 2011. Charlotte Penner is one of the authors/contributors of recipes to the blog, whose recipes we’ve used recently as the “Recipe of the Week” for this Shaping Families website. You’ll enjoy hearing “first hand” from one of the women involved in this generous project, with royalties benefitting needy families.
