Media: Perils & Possibilities
The way we consume media today is vastly different than it was even 10 and 20 years ago. Back then, if parents didn’t like what was on TV or wanted the family to do another activity, it was possible to just turn off the TV. Today, getting kids to “unplug” may feel near impossible for some parents.
So what do parents do to help their kids navigate this world of unlimited connection available everywhere they go? Rebecca Randall from Common Sense Media has dedicated her career to helping families make better choices in media.
