Taking Time for Family

Dr. Martin Marty is the author of 50 books and more than 5,000 articles. He also wrote a weekly column at The Christian Century for many years beginning in 1956. He is professor emeritus at the University of Chicago Divinity School.

Martin’s life has been a full and busy one to say the least. He is not only a prolific author, speaker, and historian, but a passionate family man. While he has received many public accolades, he holds dear his roots growing up in the Nebraska plains, his commitment to his family, and the troop of children that he raised.
