This Week's Program
Faith and Suicide
“[I] had no idea what the impact of suicide would be on us, nor the death of a child. Suicide had never occurred in the family and it wasn’t in our working vocabulary. So … it was like in a split second the world had changed.” – Fred Fox
Everyone’s faith is shaken at some time in their life. Gail and Fred Fox never expected to face the shock of their son’s death by suicide. In the face of such tragedies, some people become stronger in their faith, while some become confused and give up on faith altogether. The pain and suffering in this world is a stark reminder that faith can be difficult at times.
