Camilla’s work in prisons reminds me of how I became interested in working with inmates years ago when I and some fellow college students began visiting a nearby jail on a regular basis. I especially remember the time I got permission to spend over 24 hours there behind bars one weekend, wearing the same drab prison garb and eating the same bland prison fare as the other 12 people sharing my cell.

From host Burton: "For every family Christmas and Thanksgiving feast we could be sure that mother served sweet potatoes topped with marshmallows. As a child, it was one of my favorites. In Virginia, we discovered a recipe that promised to offer a sweet potato alternative. Over time we’ve modified it a bit, and it has become the sweet potato dish of choice for our own family feasts. Plus, it is a very popular dish for church potlucks. Never any left over!"
