Many things change as we get older. For some, one of the most difficult aspects of aging is the loss of independence. After so many years of self-reliance, things such as favorite hobbies, vacations, and driving can be hard to give up. Having to move from your home into an assisted living residence or nursing home can be even harder. The Guengerich Family – Marjorie and Paul, and their adult children – speak about that transition from independence to assisted living on this week’s program.
